Another holiday coming up? Yes, that’s right. The Philippines has a lot of holidays. But don’t worry, these holidays help us rejuvenate so that when we come back to work, we can attack your projects with a lot of vigor and energy!

To help you maximize our service and prepare for the upcoming holidays, we are giving you the list of official holidays this year. We will, of course, still inform you whenever a holiday is coming up. This is just to let you know when to expect them this year. This will help us plan ahead and make sure all your projects and tasks go without a hitch.

How will it go?

Whenever a holiday is coming up, we will remind you the week before. We will aim to finish all pending tasks and projects before the holiday. You can talk to your virtual assistant to prioritize the more urgent ones too and which ones we need to complete before we take off.

    Embarassing as it may sound, but I still get confused with the holidays here in the Philippines. Yes, we have had a lot of special holidays during GMA’s time and as far as I can remember, holidays that fall in the middle of the week (ex: the holiday falls on a wednesday or thursday),is automatically moved to a Monday so that employees will have a longer relaxing time. Though this may sound good,the essence of the commemoration for a certain holiday loses its value because it is being moved to another day, thus confusing the exact dates of that particular holiday. There is a good reason why holidays should stick with their original dates because it serves as a way of remembering of what happened on that very day several years before we all came.
